I've bought 2 of these now. The first to replace my 5 year old factory issued charger and the second only 3 months later when my puppy took a liking to cords. Both have work perfectly. I have 2011 Macbook Air.

My old charger lasted about two years before I had to replace it, because the wire split. I put my accessories through a lot of use and abuse, so two years is a reasonable amount of time before a replacement is due.
