Better than the original. No more warning messages about having the wrong charger. The plug fits better in the socket and it no longer just pops free. It charges the battery up with no problems. I should have bought this sooner.

Wonderful product! After trying several chargers that were supposed to be "universal," and finding that they wouldn't fit my HP computer, it was a relief to find this one specifically for the model I own. The longer power cord is an added bonus, as is the fact that the "brick" never gets warm to the touch. If you need a replacement power charger for your HP computer, this is definitely the way to go!

I was determined to buy an HP-brand replacement after the original that came with the laptop died, and was pleased to find one at such a good price on google.

My dog chewed up my original charger for my computer. As a college student at the time, I was so worried it would be weeks until I could get around to finding a new charger. After a friend suggesting the site for a replacement charger, I was quickly relieved. I order the product and within the next week, my computer was back up and running. Works great and a year later, I'm still using this same charger! Great product!

charges my Toshiba well. Haven't had it explode or anything. Wouldn't be able to tell you if it's destroying my battery or not because my laptop is always plugged in. But as far as direct power, always works.
